There is a common saying, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. The question is…does this align with what we see in the Word of God and if not, how do our words impact our lives?

What happens to our faith when our heart has been hardened as a result of discouragement, disappointment, or unbelief? Why is it important to guard our hearts against these things?

Truth is not an abstract idea or subjective thing we discover through our experiences. Truth is found in the Word of God; but what do we do when the truth we see in the Bible doesn’t match what we are currently experiencing?

We are seeing an epidemic of identity confusion in our culture today. People define themselves by a number of things, but if you want to walk in the fullness of what God has for you, you have to learn to define yourself by what God says about you.

God is the creator of the universe, but what exactly is He controlling? Is God’s will automatic and what part do we have to play in it while here on earth?
